Commission Process

If you are interested in a pet portrait or other commission please contact me. We will discuss the subject of your drawing, suitable reference images and the most suitable materials and size will be determined in accordance to your budget and preference. Following this you will need to email me the photo references and I will confirm the suitability of the photos. Three photos are preferred, to get an over all look at the subject, with one of the photos being the selected main image for the drawing. Payment of the deposit will be made and I will begin the drawing.

When I have finished the drawing I will send a email of the image to you. At this point any last changes or alterations can be made to the image to meet your satisfaction. Once you are happy with the final result the final payment can be made. Pick up is advisable due to the delicate nature of the art works, but if you require postage it will be at your own risk and postage and packaging costs will be added to the sale price. Once payment is confirmed the drawing will be posted.

  • Please note I can only make very limited changes and alterations to completed pencil drawings due to the nature of the medium.

Additional information

A non refundable deposit of 50% of the final cost price is required with all commissions prior to starting the drawing.

Payments can be made with cash, bank deposit/internet banking or PayPal.

All drawings are completed unframed. It is recommended you organize framing due to personal preferences and the variety of framing options available. I will organize framing only through special request and the cost will be added to the total cost of the drawing.

In general a A4 drawing will be completed within three to four weeks, A3 or bigger will need at least 4  to 5  weeks. All efforts are made to complete the work in a timely fashion although it is dependent on general work load and please bare in mind I have work obligations unrelated to my art and am not a full time artist.
